FAQ:

Q: I have food allergies! How can I eat?

A: Sternfeld is the land of weird food allergies. We are prepared! Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan and foods free from the top 9 allergens (milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, sesame, and soybeans) can be accommodated without any extra considerations. If you have another allergy, please contact KWDSDining@Sternfeld.org  The meal plan is included in the event price and can only be excluded by special arrangement due to severe dietary or religious restrictions.

Q: Family style dining doesn't work for my allergy.

A: Allergy plates will be prepared in the kitchen and brought to your table. We want to keep you safe.

Q: I have religious dietary restrictions.

A: We may be able to accommodate you, depending on your needs. Please contact KWDSDining@Sternfeld.org.  For example, pork is easily avoidable in this menu. This facility is not equipped with a full kosher kitchen. The meal plan is included in the event price and can only be excluded by special arrangement due to severe dietary or religious restrictions.

Q: Do we need feast gear?

A: No. We will provide paper plates, napkins, and cutlery for each meal. Cups will also be provided, but you may wish to bring your own mug for hot and cold beverages, which will available all day. We do not have facilities for populace dish washing.

Q: What is there to drink?

A: Water, lemonade, and unsweetened tea will be available consistently throughout the day. Hot tea and coffee will also be available at times. Don't worry, the event stewards run on tea and coffee, it'll be there if you need it. Some sweeteners will be available.

Q: Can we bring Alcohol?

A: Yes. Alcoholic beverages may be consumed and shared by individuals on site, except in designated areas, under the following rules:

  • Underage drinking will not be tolerated. If you are caught drinking underage or contributing to a minor, you will be evicted from the site without reimbursement.

  • Beverage containers should not be left in view unless they are period and non-obvious.

  • Empty beverage containers must be taken with you or disposed of in completely enclosed trash bags in site trash receptacles

Q Can I get pop/soda somewhere?

A: The site has vending machines that are generally well-stocked, however we can not guarantee it. Walmart is across the street and has a large selection. If your group would like to run a fundraiser during this event, by manning a beverage stand that has soda, fancy drinks, or snow cones available, please contact, KWDSDining@Sternfeld.org. We would love to work with you.

Q: Can we help?

A: We would love your help. Please contact KWDSDining@Sternfeld.org to volunteer individually or as a group to help prepare and serve one meal.
