Introduction to the Pattricke/Lovelace/Church Manuscript

This class will introduce to you this "recently" discovered source of English Country Dances tentatively dated to 1649. Many of the dances it contains are familiar from Playford's publications, though every one is in some way different from that source. There are also several "new" dances that have been successfully paired with appropriate music, which will be taught separately.
