Directions
Bloomington, Indiana is an hour south of Indianapolis, which is a major transportation hub for highway and air travel. Our site is on the campus of Indiana University, at the Indiana Memorial Union, 900 E 7th St., Bloomington, IN 47405
The nearest airport is Indianapolis International Airport (IND).
Shuttle bus service is available from the Indianapolis International Airport to the IMU and to Wilkie dorm. Tickets can be bought in advance from the Bloomington Shuttle web site or purchased at a kiosk in the airport, located at Ground Transportation across from the car rental desks. Note that the last shuttle departs from the airport at 10:40 pm. Avoid booking a flight that arrives in Indianapolis later than that.
There is no passenger train service to Bloomington.
Parking around campus and downtown is rather limited, so walking to restaurants, etc., may be your best bet. There are many restaurants and shops within a few blocks of the IMU.
